If you are looking for a content management system to enrich your online presence, it’s hard to go past Drupal, the free and open source content/community management platform. Efurbishment has a successful track record with Drupal, using it to power web solutions for Careershifters.org, Teachers TV, UnLtd and The New Zealand Opera Society among others. Mark Leicester has been a Drupal committer since February 2005. Its pluggable, skinable architecture enables you to interact with your online community via polls, forums, blogs, collaborative story writing, you name it; the feature’s either already available, or easy to build and plug in. If you are interested in discussing how Drupal might help you better reach your online community, why not send us an email?
Apache Cocoon is a powerful Java, XML-based, web application framework that Efurbishment uses to provide industrial strength solutions to clients ranging from the insurance and banking industry, through the energy industry to media organisations.
Efurbishment has plenty of experience harnessing the power of Apache Cocoon. Mark was an active participant in the Cocoon development community between the years of 2001 and 2005. Cocoon is an open source project and Mark contributed a MIDI block that can be used to transform MIDI files to XML and back, enabling automated musical transformations such as transposition and inversion.
